Ube Coal Center, one of Japan’s largest coal yards, is a staging base for imported steam coal, stockpiling and relaying quality steam coal from various parts of the world. The electric power business, which operates a 216MW power plant, contributes to global environmental protection with the creation of diverse renewable energies such as biomass.
